The Modern Newspaper
One point that was discussed in chapter 3 was the fact that most people get their news from social media and I can testify to that. Newspapers are hardly used because it is so much easier to open up Facebook and Instagram to see what's going on. If I want to find out something I go straight to my favorite social media apps to get information. For example, I was informed about all the riots that were recently going on in Haiti through Instagram. I follow multiple accounts that posting hour by hour updates. It's convenient and quick. The world is constantly changing and there's always breaking news. People are impatient and want their news right away. Social Media provides that for us.
